Congress Park Market took over the longtime 12th Avenue Market at 2620 East 12th Avenue in December 2023. Owners Jake Riederer and Cecelia Jones, restaurant veterans and partners with John Moutzouris in Spinelli's Market in Park Hill, stock household staples, fresh produce, local hot sauces and pies, and beer and wine, with a deli counter serving sandwiches and Spinelli's favorites. The neighborhood post office counter stayed, and the market accepts SNAP. Westword named it Best New Neighborhood Market in 2024.
