Partnerships between chefs, founders and farmers support Colorado agriculture

The effort finds its foundation in the Colorado Grain Chain. Bouvier was one of the founding members of the organization, which started about the same time as she was launching Pastaficio. Jones Farms Organics, which is the first business in Colorado to receive Regenerative Organic Certification (ROC), also was an early member.

Today, Grain Chain members include 16 bakeries, 13 farms, 16 breweries and distilleries, and eight restaurants. As the organization grows—with increasingly more farmers cultivating organic and regenerative grains and food businesses sourcing grains from local farmers—it has become a powerful movement.

Colorado Grain Chain Celebrates 2024 Good Food Awards

The Good Food Awards, for many of us foodies, is like the Oscars but for the nourishing and delightful foods and beverages that we treat ourselves to in our daily lives. The Colorado Grain Chain is delighted to share that several winners were Colorado businesses - and even more excited to share that many of them are Colorado Grain Chain Members!

Welcome to the new Colorado Grain Chain website!

Over the past year we have been working very hard with our staff and partners at Daily Grains to launch our new website! Our new platform makes it easier than ever to engage directly with the vibrant Colorado Grain Chain community. Your passion for grains just found an elevated digital home!

We cook up more than tasty baked goods here at Daily Grains 😁 Ashley and I also have digital backgrounds, so we  contribute our skills to some larger food system initiatives where we can. In the case of the Colorado Grain Chain, we've help launch a new website for them.

The site includes a forum and a database to help expand Colorado's regionally grown grain initiative by working towards connecting farmer's with companies looking to buy and use local grain in their products.
